Organizational Development and Effectiveness

  • Smart GrowthTM: A Life Stage Model for Social ChangePhilanthropy Adapted for Women's Funds within Community Foundations - A user-friendly Assessment Tool used to conduct a comprehensive review of an organization's capacities, including its progress, assets, and developmental challenges. Opportunities to apply for consulting support to use the SmartGrowthTM with board and staff.
  • Executive Director Retreats - These retreats offer executive directors opportunities meet with peers, reflect on leadership experiences and build professional and personal capacity.
  • Leadership Coaching - Six months of professional coaching for executive directors.

  • Women's Funds within Community Foundation Pre-Conference Convening - Specialized capacity building opportunity for representatives from women's funds within community foundations to network, strategize and expand knowledge around their unique opportunities and challenges.
  • Anti Poverty Convenings - Peer Networking opportunities to build a shared understanding and knowledge of the poverty alleviation happening across the Network.
  • Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund Phase II - Continued funding to support Funds who are addressing the immediate and long-term needs of women and children impacted by Hurricane Katrina, while ensuring that women's leadership and priorities are central inthe recovery and rebuilding efforts.
  • Spokesperson Training - Training for key leaders to articulate and communicate key information about their organization and its impact.
