Nirnaya aims to recenter women by making them economically and socially strong. It helps them form self-help groups for their social and economic empowerment, enhances their skill base, promotes entrepreneurship and other livelihoods.It is also in the forefront of educating women and girls thereby creating awareness about their legal and other rights and helps them claim a rightful place in society.
1.To support the advancement of the most marginalized sections of urban and rural grassroots women and girls
2.To change the general perception in society that women are not good decision makers or lacking in capability
3.To create a resource base for women who are unable to match the requirements to participate in the regular development programs for grassroots people
4. To raise the consciousness in our society about these marginalized women

Women can manage money and investing in the micro enterprise of marginalized women will have a positive impact on the immediate family, the community and result in a more balanced and just society. Jyothi from Chilakaluripeta, Andhra Pradesh who runs a small "idli-dosa" center for three hours in the morning has started sending her girls to school.
Twenty women have completed the zardosi embroidery training course in the slums of Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh and are getting orders for sari and dress material embroidery and ably executing them.
