Dear Colleagues,
As feminists we understand that relationships built on trust and mutual respect move faster, are smarter, and are strong enough to break barriers to change.
That’s why it was important for us to connect your efforts to leaders from around the globe at the Gates Foundation 2022 Goalkeeper Event and the Clinton Global Initiative this past week. WFN was also honored to be one of 10 teams selected as Goalkeeper Accelerators. Accelerators are a key part of the Gates Goalkeepers, bringing together experts, innovators and investors to drive further progress towards the Sustainable Development Global Goals.
In these spaces, WFN contributes to the lush ecosystem of impatient optimists who are passionate about collaboration and eager to learn and grow together.
That’s a good thing because our movement is still lacking, as you can see in the UN’s 2022 Gender Snapshot, the funding and even simple tools, like high-quality global data, that could speed up progress. We can, and must do better.
It’s a privilege to earn your trust and work alongside your fearless leadership in this fight. Thank you for all you do.
