As a result of their August 2020 Impact Collaborative on the adverse effects of extreme heat on health and birth outcomes, The Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade is launching a major campaign in collaboration with the City of Miami, Miami-Dade County, and other key partners, to raise awareness about the dangers of extreme heat, particularly on pregnant women of color.
This virtual event will have top experts discuss issues and potential solutions related to emerging women’s health issues.
