Join MADRE and their partners for an event discussing feminist peacebuilders’ efforts to seek climate and gender justice while advocating for restorative energy systems as a transformative tool for sustainable equity at the Church Center of the United Nations. The event will explore how climate breakdown is fueled by economic models that favor extractive industries, which in turn drive armed violence, forcibly displace communities, and undermine the livelihoods and rights of women, girls, and LGBTQIA+ people around the world.
