This session will highlight innovation and collaboration among gender justice movements to address poverty, gender inequality, and racial discrimination through an intersectional human rights framework at the local level. Women’s Intercultural Network and Women’s Funding Network are launching a collaborative open data portal to track and advance progress of local CEDAW ordinances and resolutions. The goal is to share learnings through open data to close the gender data gap, strengthen and increase the efficacy of local CEDAW implementations, and inform efforts in other municipalities and counties.
