Joyful Heart Foundation
Robyn is currently the Executive Director of the Joyful Heart Foundation. In this capacity, she is responsible for overseeing all facets of the organization, helping to drive the mission, fundraising, operations, and engagement with the board of directors and staff. Founded by in 2004 by Mariska Hargitay, Joyful Heart is a leading national organization with a mission to transform society’s response to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child abuse, support survivors’ healing, and end this violence forever. Since 2010, Joyful Heart has made the elimination of the rape kit backlog a top priority through the End the Backlog initiative (endthebacklog.org). Robyn is an attorney who has extensive experience in the field of intimate partner and family violence and access to justice. Before joining Joyful Heart, she worked at the Center for Justice Innovation, National Network to End Domestic Violence, and the House of Ruth (Baltimore, MD).
