Samantha Karlin
Empower Global
Samantha Karlin is the CEO of Empower Global, which designs and facilitates trainings on leadership and women’s empowerment for Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, tech startups, and government bodies. She also runs a feminist leadership course for women from all over the world, The Women’s Leadership Challenge. She is the host of Samanthropolitics, a talk show about global politics and women’s rights.
Ms. Karlin was also the director of global engagement at Ashoka, built coalitions for the Hillary for America campaign, managed the women’s issues portfolio for the US Embassy in Sarajevo, built leadership programs for low-income students at Lumni in Peru, and has been a young diplomat deployed to negotiate on behalf of the American Jewish Committee. Ms. Karlin holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy with a specialization in global gender analysis and conflict resolution from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy. She is working on a book about Feminist Leadership, for which she has received the prestigious Bellagio fellowship from the Rockefeller Foundation.
