Mirenda Meghelli
Director of Policy and Programs
Mirenda Meghelli joined the Women’s Funding Network in January 2022 and serves as the Director for Policy and Programs. As a key member of the WFN leadership team, Mirenda manages the day-to-day programs and projects, overall program systems, and policy work that helps our members advance the sector for gender and racial equity.
Mirenda has over fifteen years of nonprofit experience, most recently serving as a Program Officer at the DC Bar Foundation. Prior to that, Mirenda was Partnerships Manager at Pro Bono Net, a national nonprofit that uses innovative technology to increase access to justice and facilitate collaboration between community justice stakeholders. Mirenda has also held positions at Legal Information for Families Today (LIFT), where she managed the organization’s bilingual telephone and email family law information hotlines and the Bronx Defenders, a holistic public defender nonprofit.
Mirenda received a B.A. in History from the University of Pennsylvania and earned her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to support the critical agency and influence of women’s foundations and gender justice funders in the movement for equality, justice, and power for all.
